After winning a big victory in Punjab, the Aam Aadmi Party has now expressed its intention to enter Himachal Pradesh. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann held a roadshow in Mandi district of the state. During this, Arvind Kejriwal appealed to the people of the hill state to give them a chance. He said that you have given 30 years to the Congress, while giving a chance to the BJP for 17 years. Now give Aam Aadmi Party a chance for 5 years, we will show what development really is. Arvind Kejriwal said, ‘We don’t know how politics is done. But we do know how to open schools and end corruption.
Arvind Kejriwal said that we have developed in Delhi and are taking Punjab forward on the same path. During the roadshow in an open jeep, Arvind Kejriwal said, ‘You have given 30 years to Congress and 17 years to BJP. All these people have done the work of looting Himachal. Just give us 5 years. If you are not satisfied then you can remove us. Describing BJP and Congress as family parties, Arvind Kejriwal said that AAP is a party of the common man, whose only aim is development.
AAP’s announcement, candidates will be fielded on 68 seats
During this, Bhagwant Mann asked in his own style, ‘What is the condition of the market people? I have performed here many times in the celebrations of Shivratri. Amidst the slogans of Bharat Mata Ki Jai, Inquilab Zindabad and Jo Bole Se Nihal, Bhagwant Mann said that I welcome you to this wonderful welcome. Significantly, the Aam Aadmi Party has announced to field candidates for all 68 seats in the state. Recently, state in-charge Satyendra Jain had said that we will field candidates on all seats. Aam Aadmi Party is expecting big success in the districts adjoining Punjab.

Assembly elections in Himachal Pradesh and Gujarat are due in November. In both the states, the Aam Aadmi Party is trying to emerge as a third option. Although the Aam Aadmi Party had made such an attempt in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections as well, but three of its four candidates lost their deposits. After this, the Aam Aadmi Party did not participate in the 2017 assembly elections. But this time apart from the assembly elections, the Aam Aadmi Party is also preparing to enter the Shimla civic polls.
