New Delhi. ‘Mega Bicycle Distribution Project’ was organized in Noida by Rotary Club of Delhi Ananta. The program was organized at Bhavani Shankar Inter College, Noida. The main objective of the program is to distribute free cycles to the economically weaker girl students. Noida DM Suhas LY attended the event as the chief guest.
During this, District Governor of Rotary 3012 Ashok Agarwal, President of Rotary Club of Delhi Ananta Amitanshu Satpathy, Chairman of Cycle Project Rakesh Jain, Secretary Kapil Jain, Secretary Sanjay Kaushik were also present. Through this program free cycles were given to those girl students who come to school from far away and who had to face other difficulties in commuting to school and coaching.
During this program more than 269 cycles were distributed to the girl students. Under the Mega Bicycle Distribution Project, a campaign has been launched to distribute about 2200 cycles. During this, Noida DM Suhas LY addressed the children. He said that we should not stop working hard, we all get opportunities in life, we should make good use of them and should not miss that opportunity.
During this, Rakesh Jain, Chairman of Cycle Project, told NewsroomPost that this is a very big project of Rotary 3012. Under this cycle distribution is being done. Free cycles are being provided to the girl students who come from far away to study in government schools. He said that 269 cycles have been given by the Rotary Club of Ananta.
On this occasion, Ashok Agarwal, District Governor, Rotary 3012 said that the revenue area of Rotary 3012 geographically includes Sonipat, East Delhi, North Delhi as well as Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad and Hapur. He said that we are giving about 2200 cycles to the girls who come from far away from the village. Those who find it difficult to come to school. It is our aim that these girls should not face any problem in coming to school and their studies should not stop. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi says that Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, in such a situation, our aim is also that the education of girls should not stop.
The national anthem was sung at the beginning of the programme. This was followed by a traditional dance performance by the girls. After the program, several girl students told Newsroom Post that they had to go to school and coaching on foot or by auto rickshaw due to which they had problems, they had to spend money. Now the cycle has been found, it will be easy to come and go and there will be no money for rent.
