Chandigarh. In Haryana, Bharatiya Janata Party has announced the names of its candidates for all ten Lok Sabha seats. BJP gave ticket to industrialist Naveen Jindal, who was once Congress MP from Kurukshetra. On Sunday, he said goodbye to Congress and joined BJP. According to the information, Naveen Jindal was born on 9 March 1970 in an industrialist family in Hisar, Haryana. His father’s name is Omprakash Jindal. Mother is Savitri Jindal. She is the youngest child of her parents. Jindal graduated in commerce from Hans Raj College, Delhi. After this, he studied MBA from Texas University, USA, where he was also honored with the Student Leader of the Year award.
Three-time MLA, two-time MP
Naveen Jindal contested the assembly elections for the first time in the year 1991. Contested elections again in the year 2000 and again in 2005. His father was the Electricity Minister of Haryana. But he died in a helicopter crash. After this his mother Savitri Jindal contested elections from Hisar. Naveen Jindal is married to famous Kuchipudi dancer Shalu Jindal. Both have a son and daughter. He does business in the fields of coal, steel and education. His mother is at number 50 in the list of the richest people in the world, while she is the richest woman in India.
