Best Selling Electric Scooter: The electric segment is growing rapidly in the Indian vehicle market these days, one after the other companies are launching vehicles to make their presence felt in this segment, and today’s article is on electric two wheelers. A recent example of the continued sales of electric two-wheelers in India is that in February, the total number of EVs purchased last month stood at 54,557, which included around 32,416 high-speed electric scooters.
At the same time, a growth of 18 percent was registered in this segment as compared to March last year. Hero Electrical continues to be the largest electric two-wheeler producer in India in this segment, and Ola Electrical also saw a huge jump in registrations in February. Hero Electric
Hero Electric retained its position at the top among electric two-wheeler manufacturers in India in February. The company sold around 7,356 EV units last month. Which is three times more than in February last year. Let us tell you, Hero Electrical sold 2,194 electric vehicles in the same period last year.

Okinawa
On the other hand, Okinawa Autotech remained at the second position among electric two-wheeler manufacturers in India in February. The company has registered 5,923 EV units last month. This figure is more than a five-fold increase compared to February of the previous 12 months. Let us tell you that Okinawa is currently all set to launch a new electric scooter by the name of Okhi90. Which aims to tackle rivals like Ola S1.
ampere
Ampere Auto occupied the third position in this list. The company manufactures EVs like Rio, Rio Elite, Magnus EX, Magnus Professional and Zeal. Ampere, which emerged as the third largest EV two-wheeler maker in February, clocked 4,303 units last month. Which is much higher than the 806 bought in the same month last year.
Ola
Ola Electric also managed to figure in the list of India’s largest selling EV brand. Ola Electrical has created a record space within a few months of launching its S1 electric scooter. Ola Electrical saw a huge jump in registrations in February. Due to which Ola delivered 3,904 items last month and has overtaken Ather Energy to occupy the fourth position.
Ather
Bengaluru-based EV startup Ather Vitality saw a slight drop in sales last month. The company sold 2,229 units in February, while the figure was limited to 2,825 units in January.
