MP Budget 2022: Bhopal (State Bureau). To increase the pace of development in Madhya Pradesh, the Shivraj government will support central schemes. In the budget, share capital will be kept for central schemes related to urban development, panchayat and rural development, agriculture and other departments. The works of Prime Minister’s Housing, Prime Minister’s Rural Roads, MNREGA, sewer lines in cities, AMRUT Mission etc. will be done on priority in urban and rural areas. Provisions will be made to promote mechanization with maximum utilization of infrastructure funds in the agriculture sector.
Organic farming and startups will get a boost
The central government has made a provision in the budget to promote natural and organic farming. It has been announced to develop five kilometers of farmers’ land along the Ganges river as a natural farming corridor. Similarly, in Madhya Pradesh, natural/organic farming will be encouraged within a radius of five kilometers from both the banks of the Narmada river. For this provision will be made in the budget. Financial assistance will be provided to the startups related to agriculture through NABARD. The scheme will be made on the basis of the package of the Central Government to promote quality varieties of crops and vegetables.
Farmers belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes will be helped for agro-forestry. Provision will be kept in the government budget for speedy work on the Ken-Betwa project. Custom Hiring Center will be expanded to promote mechanization. A campaign will be launched to register the farmers deprived of the benefits of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. The central government gives six thousand rupees to the farmers every year and the state four thousand rupees Samman Nidhi. For this, there will be a provision of Rs 3600 crore in the budget.
Emphasis on expansion of small and medium industries
In the budget, the emphasis of the Shivraj government will be on the expansion of small and medium industries. For this 14 clusters are being developed. Entrepreneurs starting a new venture here will be provided with plots and other facilities. To promote micro, small and medium industries, the central government has extended the provision of additional lending till 2023, its benefits will be given to the entrepreneurs of the state.
Urban street vendors will be given interest free loans from banks under the Svanidhi scheme. Maximum assistance will be taken from the central government to take advantage of Mumbai, Varanasi and Indore-Visakhapatnam corridor. A contract will be signed with the National Highways Authority of India to select other locations like Indore for setting up the Multi Logistics Park. An initiative will be taken for setting up one of the seven textile parks proposed by the Central Government in Madhya Pradesh.
Delhi tour of ministers-officers will start
According to the information, after the completion of the budget process, the visits of ministers and officials will start to Delhi. In fact, after the arrival of the Union Budget, the Chief Minister has instructed all the ministers and senior officers to take the initiative to get maximum benefits of the central schemes to the people of the state. Get the proposals prepared and sent to the central ministries on time and keep in touch with the central ministers and officials so that the central funds are released on time.
Focus on Prime Minister’s Housing, AMRUT Yojana and Jal Jeevan Mission
There will be maximum focus on such schemes in the budget which are directly related to the beneficiaries. In this, urban and rural Pradhan Mantri Awas, Nal Jal Mission and AMRUT Yojana are important.
For the Prime Minister’s Rural Housing, the government has prepared a new list of eligible beneficiaries, which will be sent to the central government in May.
Under the Jal Jeevan Mission, tap connections will be given to every household in rural areas through group tap water schemes. For this, the Public Health Engineering Department will get adequate funds.
The planning of cities will be made in such a way that it is easy to move. It will be implemented in AMRUT scheme.
Efforts will be made to get funds from the central government by giving priority to other works including maintenance work, construction of assets under MNREGA, sewer lines in cities under the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Sadak Yojana.
