It was also decided that the work of maintenance of roads and buildings would be looked after by the Public Works Department. At the same time, all those gardens of Bhopal which were maintained by the CPA will be handed over to the Forest Department. Finance Bill 2022 and Third Supplementary Estimate (Budget) proposal were also approved in the meeting.
State government spokesperson Home Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra, while giving information about the decision of the cabinet, said that the CPA Bhopal would be responsible for the disposal of roads, ministry, assembly building, MLA rest house, gas relief and rehabilitation department, hospital, housing and Union Carbide waste. was looking for work. At the same time, the work of maintaining the main parks of Bhopal will now be looked after by the Forest Department. To ensure the use of Narmada water in the state, Narmada Valley Development and Water Resources Department has given permission to invite tender for 12 proposed irrigation projects with administrative approval. In the meeting, in view of the situation of Corona epidemic, the resolution plan was ratified for payment of the amount of deferred electricity bills of domestic consumers. Permission was given to introduce the Madhya Pradesh Panchayat Raj and Gram Swaraj Amendment Bill in the budget session of the Vidhan Sabha. Through this, the process of granting permission for tourism or industrial activities in rural areas will be decided by the government. Its powers will be given to the concerned departments.
Government will buy electricity generated from Omkareshwar and Chhatarpur solar power project
It was decided in the meeting that the proposed 600 MW capacity on Omkareshwar reservoir and 950 MW power generated from Chhatarpur Solar Power Park would be purchased by the government. Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company Limited has been authorized for this. At present, solar power projects of two thousand 380 MW capacity are established in the state.
