A fire broke out in a godown located in Ghatkopar area of Mumbai. As of now, no casualty has been reported till the time of writing this news. At present, eight fire tenders have reached the spot. Earlier on November 7, a massive fire broke out in Mandla junk market in Mankhurd area. Meanwhile, 10 tankers and 150 personnel had doused the fire.

According to the information, a fire broke out in a furniture junk shop in the slum area of Asalfa area of Ghatkopar at 10.30 am today. On getting information about the incident, police, ward staff and ambulance reached the spot. The fire slowly spread to the surrounding houses. However, as a precaution, the people of the area have been evacuated safely. However, the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. Police has started investigation of the case and started legal action against the accused.
