There is good news for the residents that this time also the water of Rampura reservoir has been released from the Water Resources Department to make it available in the coming summer and this water will be stored in the life-giving Parvati river of the city very soon. The work of deepening in the river has been started near the Parvati bridge so that the water does not go to waste by overflowing the shutter through the overflow. From now on, the municipality is taking the water of Rampura reservoir. While there is enough water near Napa in the Parvati river, the lifeblood of the city. Chief Municipal Officer Nandkishore Parasaniya says that the residents of the city will not have to face the problem of water in summer due to the above water released from Rampura Dam.
Last year, drinking water was provided to the residents of the city except for two days in the summer, due to which the people had to face a lot of problems. This situation will not happen this year due to Rampura reservoir scheme. This is the first time that NAPA had to take water from Rampura reservoir on February 15 after rain. Probably there will be no problem of drinking water till July from the water of the said Rampura dam, which has just been released. Even if water does not come from Rampura reservoir even for a month, there is enough water available in Parvati river near Napa. Due to this, drinking water can be made available to the residents of the city except one day in a few months i.e. up to March. City dwellers will still have to wait a long time for daily drinking water supply.

The water released from the Rampura reservoir has reached Aroliya village near the city and will reach the city’s life-giver Parvati river in a few days. These days some part of the Parvati river has become a playground. The municipality has deposited five lakh rupees in the earlier outstanding amount to the Water Resources Department to get the said water released.
Team formed to stop water theft
Chief Municipal Officer Nandkishore Parasaniya told that a search team has been formed to stop the theft of the water released from Rampura Dam. In which the municipality and other employees have been deployed. The water comes in the river, so the villages on the banks of the river. The electric motor will be confiscated if water is stolen.
