The Nationalist Congress Party leader has expressed her desire to offer prayers of all religions, including Namaz, outside Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s residence. A letter has also been written to the Union Home Minister in this regard. Recently, Amravati MP Navneet Rana and her husband MLA Ravi Rana recited Hanuman Chalisa outside Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray’s residence ‘Matoshree’. At present, the court has sent both the leaders to judicial custody for 14 days.
Mumbai North District Working President Fahmida Hasan Khan has written a letter to Home Minister Shah. He wrote, ‘I request you from Fahmida Hasan Khan Kandivali Mumbai Maharashtra to allow me to read Namaz, Hanuman Chalisa, Navkar Mantra, Guru Granth and Novino outside the residence of the Prime Minister of India, respected Narendra Modi ji. On Saturday, the Rana couple had talked about reciting Hanuman Chalisa outside the CM residence. After this, a large number of Shiv Sena workers created a ruckus at the Rana couple’s house. In a conversation with news agency ANI, Navneet had expressed concern over law and order and said that the CM was creating a Bengal-like situation in the state.
According to the statement issued by the police, a case has been registered against MLA Ravi Rana and MP Navneet Kaur Rana under various sections including 153(A), 34, at Khar police station. Both have been taken into custody from their residence in Khar. Further investigation is going on from Khar police station side.
