Scam in purchase: not given to children, kept in hostel rooms only
When the students reached the collector, they hurriedly emptied the goods
The matter between the Tribal Welfare Department and the Vimukt Jati Welfare Department
Mandsaur (Naiduniya Rep). An example of how serious the government is about procurement is the new pillows and blankets kept in the hostels. Which have become so bad after getting drenched in rain water that now they have started stinking. Hundreds of newly purchased blankets and pillows were also kept in the hostel of Tribal Welfare Department located on Rewas Deora Marg for more than two years. Due to this, the students residing in the hostel reached the collector’s office on Thursday and told about the problems being faced by them due to stuffing. Also told about the smell coming from blankets and pillows. On this, the collector got angry and called the district coordinator of the Tribal Welfare Department and asked to vacate all the goods by evening.
In fact, the whole mess happened in about a year or two. Hundreds of blankets, pillows, sheets and other materials were purchased for the hostels of the Vimukt Jati and Backward Classes Welfare Department, which was separated from the Tribal Welfare Department. And all the material was kept in two rooms of SC Post Matric Boys Hostel of Tribal Welfare Department located on Rewas-Devda Road. Due to this the situation was being created that the whole material kept getting wet in the rain for two years and now the situation has become such that the new material is getting spoiled and the smell has started coming from it. But as no bill was received, the department has not paid the same. But now the students went and complained to Collector Gautam Singh after the constant trouble. On this, the Collector called Arvind Kumar Srivastava, District Convener of Tribal Welfare Department and asked him to remove all the goods in a day. Shrivastava told Tirath Garame of Vimukt Jati Department. After reaching the hostel, all the materials were handed over to them.
Hostel condition very bad, unnoticed
Dr. Ambedkar Vidyarthi Sangathan Hostel President Vishnu Bamnia and other students submitted a memorandum to the Collectorate on Thursday regarding the problems in the Scheduled Caste Post Matric Boys Hostel located on Rewas Deora Marg. In which it was told that the condition of the hostel is very bad. We all students want to keep our position on the serious problems going on in the hostel at present, ignoring this we may face many kinds of dangers in the near future. Ignoring them will also increase the health hazard, while all the students residing in the hostel may also be harmed.
These are the main problems of the hostel
1. Arrangement of drinking water should be done in the hostel
2. The problem of power outage should also be removed.
3. The hostel building should be repaired, along with the repair and painting of the roof and rooms.
4. English subject teachers should also be made available in the hostel.
5. Arrange adequate amount of tables, chairs, beds, fans, pillows and blankets etc.
6. Arrangement of cleaning staff should also be made regularly in the hostel.
7. The materials of other hostels are also kept here, they should be removed and sent to the right place.
8. Provision of sports material in the hostel.
9. From the time of construction of the hostel only 50 seats are available, the number of these seats should be increased to 100.
The material purchased for the old-time Vimukt Jati hostel was lying. It contained blankets, pillows and other items. It is not known when this item was supplied and why it has not been paid. On Thursday, on the orders of the collector, all the goods were removed and handed over to the district coordinator of Vimukt caste.

In the olden times, orders were issued for purchase from James, but later the committee canceled it and said that goods should be purchased from Khadi Village Industries. Now how much is there and from where it was bought is not known. On Thursday, the goods have been removed from there and kept in the Backward Class Boys Hostel.
