The Child Welfare Committee has taken the statement of the mother in the case of suicide of a student resident of Discovery Society located in Greater Faridabad. He told that the son was being harassed in school for many years. About two years ago, it was complained to the school management, but it is alleged that the management did not pay attention. As a result the son committed suicide. The officers of the committee have taken many important evidences like videos, photos and notes from him. The committee says that action can also be taken against the school management. Statements will be recorded again after three to four days. Advocate Shripal Karhana, chairman of the Child Welfare Committee, said that on Thursday, the committee’s team had reached the woman’s statement. Although at first she hesitated to tell anything, but after many assurances, gave many important information. The information was given to the management orally, but nothing was done.
His world was ruined by this carelessness. According to officials, the student’s mother was questioned for over an hour. Officials say that the woman is still under mental stress.
Classmates will not be questioned yet
Child Welfare Committee officials say that the student’s classmates will not be questioned yet. In his suicide note and diary, he has mentioned the names of about 14 students etc. Everyone is accused of harassing. Officials say that at present all the notes have been sent to the forensic lab for examination.
Further action will be taken only after the report of writing, matching etc. comes from there. Officials say that the report will make sure that all the notes are written by the deceased student or someone else’s handwriting. After all the truth comes out, the students mentioned in the notes will be questioned.
Mother’s counseling
According to sources, the student’s mother is avoiding giving a statement to the police. On Thursday, before the Child Welfare Committee, the police team had also reached the woman to record her statement, but she did not give a statement to the police citing mental stress.
