Patna Regarding the leak of the question paper of Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) 67th Preliminary Examination, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that immediate action was taken after the matter came to light and the examination was cancelled. He said that the entire matter is being investigated, I have given instructions to expedite the investigation.
Talking to reporters in Patna, the Chief Minister said on Monday that in the BPSC paper (question paper) leak case, he said that immediate action was taken after the matter came to light and the examination was canceled. He said that the matter is being investigated at present.
I have directed the police to expedite the investigation of where and how the paper was leaked. Action will be taken against the person who leaked the paper. He said that it will also be seen if this does not happen in future.
It is noteworthy that BPSC has canceled the 67th Combined Preliminary Examination after the question paper went viral before the examination. The Economic Offenses Unit has been entrusted with the investigation of the entire case.
The BPSC preliminary exam was to start on Sunday at 12 noon. It is alleged that even before this the question paper went viral on social sites. After this matter came to light, the commission constituted a three-member team and directed to submit the investigation report within three hours.
Based on the report of the committee constituted by the commission, the commission announced the cancellation of the examination.
Here, Leader of Opposition in the Assembly Tejashwi Yadav on Monday surrounded the government regarding this matter and said that the name of Bihar Public Service Commission, which ruined the lives of crores of youth and candidates of Bihar, should now be changed to something else.
He said that the candidates who came to the examination center from outside have also demanded a compensation of five thousand rupees each. He said that it is not the students’ fault but the system’s fault. He said that this development is corruption, unemployment, paper leak, bad law and order situation.
