Intel, the second largest tech company after Google, has now introduced an unpaid leave rule for non-vaccinated employees. The company has ordered its employees to submit vaccination certificates by January 4, 2022. Employees who fail to do so will have to submit a valid reason for not getting vaccinated, along with proof. Employees who fail to do so will be placed on unpaid leave.

This rule will also apply to work from home employees. The company has sent an e-mail to its employees asking them to provide details of the vaccine by December 3. Employees were also given the option to submit medical or religious reasons by December 3.
