New Delhi. The Punjab-Haryana High Court has stayed his arrest till May 10, amid fierce political turmoil over BJP leader Tejinder Bagga. After this, Bagga has fiercely targeted Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal by releasing a video. He said that, I thank the Punjab and Haryana High Court, the Minorities Commission, who have shown that there is rule of law in this country. If Arvind Kejriwal thinks that on the strength of power and police, he can intimidate and bow down the workers of Bharatiya Janata Party, then he should file not one hundred cases. Arvind Kejriwal has pitted his spokespersons and Punjab ministers against me. It shows that he is very scared and you can’t sleep. I thank the National Commission for Minorities who have questioned the Punjab Government on the issue of not wearing a turban and I am sure the guilty will be punished after the notice of the Minorities Commission.
Referring to that day, he said that, I had repeatedly told the Punjab Police that bare heads are not allowed to go out, I asked them for permission to cover them, but I was told that the head will be covered by going to your Punjab. On the other hand, a woman employee of Punjab Police had told her colleagues to cover the head but no one listened.
In fact, the Punjab Police had registered a case against Tejinder Pal Singh Bagga for making inflammatory speeches, promoting enmity and making criminal threats. A complaint was lodged against Bagga by Mohali resident Aam Aadmi Party leader Sunny Ahluwalia.
After the case was registered, the Punjab Police arrested Bagga, after which the matter gained momentum and his father filed a kidnapping case against the Punjab Police in Delhi.
