The first smartphone from Nothing will be launched in India on 12th July. OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei’s startup Nothing has finally revealed the design of its much-awaited smartphone. It was expected that the phone would be launched with a transparent design, but the company has given a different design in the phone. The company has shared the rear look picture of Nothing Phone (1) on its website and social media account. In this picture the parrot can be seen on top of a white nothing phone (1).
Asymmetrical design can be seen on the rear of the phone. There is a dual-camera setup at the rear, which looks like a wireless charging coil. Apart from this, some metal plates can also be seen and it seems that these plates have covered the internal components of the phone. The design and look of the phone is reminiscent of the Nothing ear (1) earbuds but the Nothing ear (1) doesn’t get a completely transparent design. At the moment it is also not clear whether the phone will come in 1 white color or whether the company will also provide more color variants at the time of launch.
To recall, the Nothing Ear (1) earbuds were launched in a single white color only. But after a few months, the company also made a black color variant available. Some light strips can also be seen on the rear in Nothing Phone 1. Carl Pei had also given information about this at the time of confirming the Nothing Phone 1 in March this year. It looks like these light strips will also act as notification indicators. Apart from this, the power button and volume rocker button can be seen on separate sides in the phone (1).
Nothing phone (1) will be launched next month, on July 12. The device can be launched with Snapdragon 700-series chipset. The handset supports 45W fast charging and wireless charging. The phone will come with a new custom skin – Android based NothingOS. More details about the Nothing Phone (1) are expected to be made available in the coming days.
