Guidelines will be issued
According to police sources, a blueprint is being prepared in Dwarka district for the use of cameras. The technical aspects of the scheme are being looked into. Guidelines are being prepared regarding the behavior of policemen equipped with cameras. It will mention how the policeman will use the camera. How long should he have video footage? When will he turn off the camera and whether he will be allowed to turn off the camera while on duty. What action can be taken for violating the guidelines, it will also be told.
Will hand over visuals to SHO
The police officer said that the policemen of the police station and the PCR team will hand over all the visuals of the cameras on the uniforms to the SHO of the concerned police station. Later it will also be sent by the SHO of the police station to the senior officers of the district. A report in this regard will also be prepared from time to time.
