Patna. Regarding Lok Sabha elections, NDA has done seat sharing with mutual consent. At the same time, the issue of seat sharing in the Grand Alliance seems to be getting complicated instead of being resolved. First, there was resentment among Congress leaders regarding Aurangabad seat and now the situation is the same with Purnia Lok Sabha seat. RJD hurriedly got Bima Bharti joined on Saturday and Bima Bharti expressed its desire to contest elections from Purnia Lok Sabha seat.
Here Pappu Yadav said that leaving the world is acceptable but leaving Purnia is not acceptable. On Saturday, senior Congress leader and former IPS officer Nikhil Kumar, candidate from Aurangabad, said that if the Congress High Command gives its consent, he is ready to contest elections from Aurangabad Lok Sabha constituency. Under the leadership of Aurangabad District Congress Committee President Pramod Singh, a large number of workers reached Nikhil Kumar’s residence in Patna and were visibly upset with Rajat’s unilateral decision.
Ruckus broke out on Aurangabad-Purnia seat
Congress District President Pramod Singh said that even if the alliance breaks, it does not matter because the RJD candidate has no comparison with Nikhil Kumar. Uneasiness in the Congress camp has also increased due to Bima Bharti expressing its desire to contest elections from Purnia. Pappu Yadav, who merged his party with Congress to contest elections from Purnia, has tweeted on social media saying that he will leave the world but cannot leave Purnia.
After all, on which formula will the agreement be made?
Now in such a situation, the big question has arisen that under which agreement will the seat sharing be done in the Grand Alliance? Congress is restless but RJD is not bothered by it. Many questions have arisen due to the ongoing dispute between Rajendra and Congress regarding seat sharing. The biggest question is whether the grand alliance will be able to remain united or will the relationship between Rajendra and Congress turn sour in the coming days. Seat sharing has been announced in NDA. JDU has also announced its candidates today.
