Olympics (Men’s Hockey): India won Olympic bronze medal after 41 years

Tokyo, Aug 5 (IANS)| India’s men’s hockey team has won an Olympic medal after a gap of 41 years by showing a stellar performance despite being trailing 1-3 at one point of time. India defeated Germany 5-4 in a thrilling match for the bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics. The Indian team lost to Belgium in the semi-finals. After this he got a chance to win bronze. At one point the Indian team was trailing 1-3 against Germany, but scoring four goals in seven minutes, the Indian players turned the direction of the match.
