AI-based triple camera setup, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 5G platform
New Delhi, April 23 (IANS)| Chinese smartphone brand Oppo on Friday announced that it is all set to launch a new 5G smartphone A53 5G in India on April 27. The upcoming smartphone is likely to be priced under Rs 15,000 and will be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 700 chipset. The new smartphone is aiming to break all records by bringing to its consumers the most affordable device that is 5G ready, the company said in a statement. The company said that it has been introduced with a powerful and advanced MTK 700 processor under the hood.
The smartphone will be launched with a refresh rate of 90 Hz and touch sampling rate of 120 Hz, which can be offered with full sRGB coverage and 480-nits typical brightness. The company recently launched the A74 5G for Rs 17,990, which has a 6.5-inch full HD punch-hole LCD screen.
The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 5G platform and is paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The smartphone sports an AI-based triple camera setup, which includes a 48-megapixel main camera, a 2-megapixel depth camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. Apart from this, it also has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies.
According to the company, the Oppo A74 5G, which boasts of 90Hz refresh rate, 5000mAh battery and 18W fast charging, is the company’s first 5G-ready smartphone in the pocket-friendly segment.
