Don’t take breaks for fear of losing your place in the team
New Delhi. Pakistan’s young fast bowler Naseem Shah has raised questions on clarity and better communication between senior players, team management, selectors and Pakistan Cricket Board. Naseem Shah said that he was also afraid of losing his place if he was out of the team due to injury. Shah told Cricwick, ‘To be honest, key players are afraid of giving rest to their bodies even though they know they need a break because the environment of Pakistan cricket is such that if a new player comes and one or If he performs well in two matches, then you don’t know whether he will take your place in the team permanently. Due to this fear, players are not able to rest because they fear that their career may end here.
