Pakistan Targeted Killings: India’s most wanted terrorists are being eliminated continuously in Pakistan, due to which Pakistan is worried. The shocking situation is that recently Pakistan had alleged that India was behind ‘target killing’ in its country. This allegation was made by Pakistan on the basis of a report published in the British newspaper ‘The Guardian’. Now America’s reaction has also come to light in this matter. On Pakistan’s allegations regarding India, America has clearly said that we will not comment on this matter.
America’s reaction
US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller said, “We are following media reports regarding this issue. We cannot comment on those allegations. But certainly, we are not intervening in this matter.” We request both sides to avoid tension and move forward to find a solution through dialogue.
Pakistan’s allegation
It is noteworthy that recently a report was published in the British newspaper ‘The Guardian’. In this report it was said that India is behind the target killing taking place in Pakistan. It was also said in the report that India has eliminated 20 terrorists in Pakistan since 2020. It was only after this report that Pakistan accused India of ‘target killing’.
India’s answer
India had rejected all the allegations of Pakistan. Foreign Minister S Jaishankar had said that the allegations are false. He had said that target killing is not in India’s foreign policy.
