New Delhi. Foreign Secretary Vikram Egypti said late Saturday night that the army has been ordered to take strict measures over the violation of the ceasefire between India and Pakistan. He said that Pakistan has “violated” in a few hours in a few hours to stop military action between DGMOs of India and Pakistan. Vikram Egypt told the media that the Indian Army is strongly retaliating and is trying to stop the encroachment on the border.
He said that this action from Pakistan is “extremely condemnable and its entire responsibility is on Pakistan”.
He said, “Armed forces are keeping a close watch on the situation and they have been instructed to take strict action if there is a repeat of any violation on the International Border and Line of Control.”
The Foreign Secretary said that we expect Pakistan to understand the seriousness of the situation and take concrete steps to prevent this encroachment with immediate effect. The Indian Army is constantly monitoring this situation and is fully prepared to give a tough and decisive answer to any type of violation.
It is noteworthy that after three days of struggle, there was a ceasefire between India and Pakistan. The Indian Ministry of External Affairs said that ceasefire came into force from 5 pm on Saturday, but within just four hours, Pakistan violated the ceasefire and started firing from across the border. Also targeted many cities through drones.
Earlier, the Government of India took a big decision regarding the ongoing fight against terrorism. The government had given a strict message that any terrorist incident in future would be considered a war action against India.
