Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif China Visit
Beijing/Shenzhen: Pakistan is in the grip of a serious economic crisis. Pakistan always stands begging bowl in front of other countries for money. Pakistan also needs money from China. Now at such a time, Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has reached China with the aim of strengthening bilateral relations. Sharif faced a big crisis in China when he was asked about the safety of Chinese citizens in Pakistan. During this, Shahbaz Sharif assured that Chinese workers will be given full security from the frequent terrorist attacks.
Pak government took steps
Addressing the Pakistan-China Business Forum, Sharif assured Chinese investors of all possible facilitation and safety of Chinese workers, state-run Associated Press Pakistan reported. He said his government has taken various steps to ensure full safety of the lives of Chinese workers in Pakistan.
‘Will provide more protection than our own children’
Pakistan Prime Minister Sharif said, “I will leave no stone unturned to protect the lives of Chinese workers. I assure and guarantee that we will provide them more security than our own children. This will never happen again.” He referred to the terrorist attack in Besham, Pakistan in March in which five Chinese workers and their Pakistani driver were killed. (Language)
