New Delhi. Mumbai Indians registered their second win in IPL 2024 by defeating Royal Challengers Bangalore by 7 wickets. Rain of runs was seen in the 25th match of IPL played at Wankhede Stadium. RCB team lost despite scoring 196 runs, whereas Mumbai displayed a champion performance and captured the match by scoring 199 runs with 27 balls remaining. In batting, Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav hit fifties, while in bowling, Jasprit Bumrah created havoc. Bumrah proved his usefulness by taking 5 wickets. Team mentor Sachin Tendulkar is elated with Mumbai’s second consecutive win and the excellent performance of its players. Sachin expressed his happiness on social media.

After 5 wickets of star fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah, Mumbai Indians defeated RCB by 7 wickets on the basis of explosive innings of Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan. Ishaan scored 69 runs in just 34 balls with the help of seven fours and five sixes. Whereas Suryakumar played an inning of 52 runs in 19 balls which included four sixes and five fours. Mumbai Indians got the target of 197 runs from RCB in 15. Achieved in 3 overs.
Ishaan had decided the direction of the match by scoring 23 runs including three sixes and one four in the very second over of Mohammad Siraj. RCB handed the ball to Glenn Maxwell in the sixth over, in whose over Ishaan scored his first half-century in 23 balls by hitting two fours and a six. He along with Rohit Sharma added 101 runs in 53 balls for the first wicket. Rohit scored 38 runs in 24 balls which included three fours and three sixes. He played a supporting role with Ishaan and Suryakumar.
