RJD’s Bima Bharti will be the grand alliance candidate from Purnia Lok Sabha seat.
Congress leader Pappu Yadav’s claim intact, announcement of flag hoisting in Purnia.
Patna. Seat sharing in the Grand Alliance has been announced. Under this, RJD will contest elections on 26 seats, Congress on 9 and Left parties on 5 seats. It has also become clear which seats will belong to whom. Under this, RJD Gaya, Nawada, Jehanabad, Aurangabad, Valmikinagar, Patliputra, Munger, Jamui, Banka, Araria, East Champaran, Shivhar, Sitamarhi, Vaishali, Saran, Siwan, Gopalganj, Ujiarpur, Darbhanga, Madhubani, Jhanjharpur, Supaul, Madhepura, RJD will field its candidates on Araria, Hajipur and Purnia seats. Whereas on the Left, CPI(ML) will contest elections on 3 seats. The seats of Ara, Nalanda and Karakat have come to his account. Whereas, CPI has got the seat of Begusarai and CPM has got the seat of Khagaria. Whereas, Congress has got the seats of Kishanganj, Katihar, Muzaffarpur, Sasaram, Patna Sahib, Samastipur, Bhagalpur, West Champaran and Maharajganj. With the pattern of seat sharing coming to light, the biggest blow has been dealt to Pappu Yadav, who is claiming the Purnia Lok Sabha seat. However, from his attitude it seems that there could be a friendly fight between RJD and Congress in Purnia.
It is being told that Pappu Yadav is still Purnia But he is adamant and is talking to the Congress high command. According to the information received, Pappu Yadav is still pressurizing for the Purnia seat, hence the possibility of a friendly fight in the alliance has increased in Purnia, because Pappu Yadav is not ready to back down from Purnia. It is believed that if Pappu Yadav does not back down from his claim then he will be face to face with Bima Bharti. Meanwhile, while talking to News 18, Pappu Yadav has said that he will raise the Congress flag from Purnia.
Pappu Yadav Said, Purnia belonged to Congress and will remain so. Purnia is in our hearts and minds. No one can separate God and devotee. He said that on June 4, there will be a Congress flag here (Purnia) and the people will win. However, Pappu Yadav said that Lalu Yadav is like a father to him. They were there yesterday, they are there today and they will be there in the future also. He also said that he is continuously trying to talk to them, but is not able to talk. He called Tejashwi Yadav his younger brother, but also reiterated that only the Congress flag will be hoisted in Purnia on June 4.
Lalu had offered Pappu Yadav to merge with RJD.
However, it is also being told that RJD supremo Lalu Yadav is behind not giving ticket to Pappu Yadav from Purnia. It is being told from sources that Lalu Yadav had offered Pappu Yadav to merge Jan Adhikar Party with RJD. But, Pappu Yadav did not listen to him and merged his party with Congress. It is being told that since that time Lalu Yadav was angry and was waiting for the opportunity. First he was offered to contest from Madhepura and then from Supaul, but now only these Purnia, Madhepura and Supaul seats have gone to RJD. Obviously this is a big blow for Pappu Yadav and saying no to Lalu Yadav directly proved to be a heavy blow for him.
