India ranks after Brazil and Indonesia, spends an average of 4.9 hours on smartphones per day
US’s reliable news website ZDNet has put forth a new report regarding the use of smartphones. It claims that India is the third largest country in the world in terms of smart phone usage. This means that India is the country where people are the third largest smartphone users in the world. According to this report, Brazilians spend an average of 5.4 hours a day on a smartphone, while Indians spend 4.9 hours a day on a smartphone.
According to this report, Brazilians in the world spend the most time on a smartphone, 5.4 hours. Then in second place are the people of Indonesia with 5.3 hours. While India ranks third on the list with 4.9 hours. The other 7 countries on the list are South Korea-4.8, Mexico-4.7, Turkey-4.5, Japan-4.4, Canada-4.1, USA-3.9, UK-3.8 hours.
Also according to a report by App Annie’s Global Trends, mobile app usage is on the rise. According to research conducted on top social networking apps, in the year 2020, Brazilians spent an average of 30.3 hours on WhatsApp every month. In 2019 this figure was 26.3 hours.
In the year 2020, Tiktok was used for 14 hours. In 2019 this figure was 6.8 hours. Tik Tok has increased to 15.6 hours in 2020 and more than 14 hours in 2019.
On the other hand, as per App Annie’s report, Instagram usage was 14 hours in 2020 compared to 11.5 hours in 2019, while users used Twitter for 6.4 hours in 2020 instead of 5.1 hours in 2019. According to App Annie, Brazil has achieved a 75% increase in finance app downloads. Users spent 45% more time on financial apps than last year.
