New Delhi. Sunita Kejriwal, wife of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who is lodged in Tihar jail in the Delhi liquor scam, did a road show on Sunday. Making an emotional appeal to the public, he alleged that the Chief Minister was put in jail to “suppress” his voice before the elections. During this, he appealed to the people and said that they should ‘answer the jail by voting’ against the “dictatorship”.
Sunita Kejriwal on Sunday held her third road show in support of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate Sahiram Pehalwan in South Delhi in the national capital. She said her husband was jailed because he built good government schools, mohalla clinics and promised to give Rs 1,000 to every woman in Delhi.

Sunita said, ‘They put him (Chief Minister) in jail just before the elections to suppress his voice. Dictatorship is at its peak. Please save this country. Please cast your vote without worrying about the heat. He alleged, ‘Your Chief Minister and my husband have been put in jail. No court has convicted him. They are saying that investigation is going on. If the investigation continues for 10 years, will they keep him in jail for 10 years? This is sheer hooliganism and dictatorship.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was arrested on March 21 in a money laundering case related to liquor policy. He is currently lodged in Tihar Jail in judicial custody.
