Bhilai. Both Maitribagh and Zoo, operated by the Horticulture Department of Bhilai Steel Plant, were opened by the management for general tourists on March 1. After this, the crowd of tourists arrived on the first Sunday. People enjoyed the greenery, swing as well as saw the wild animals in the zoo.
Tourists started walking again from today in Maitribagh, run by the Horticulture Department of Bhilai Steel Plant. It was closed for the third time on January 6 due to the Corona period.
The Horticulture Department of BSP receives revenue of more than 1.25 crore every year from tourists visiting Maitribagh through tickets. But in the last three years, due to the Corona period, where there has been a setback of revenue on the one hand, the tourists also had to be disappointed.
The flower show, which was to be held in the first week of February, also did not take place this year. After permission from the district administration, it was opened for tourists from today. After this, today was the first Sunday and there was a huge crowd, which showed a lot of activity.
The residents of Talpuri B block are lighter than the bulls
The residents of Talpuri B block of Bhilai are very concerned about bulls these days. Not only bulls, but pigs, cows and dogs also remain the cause of their trouble. Cow and bull are not able to enter the main gate due to the presence of a cattle guard, while in another gate on the side of NSPCL colony, due to the absence of a cattle guard, the animals easily enter from here.
One of these bulls is more aggressive. The irresponsible attitude of Risali Municipal Corporation employees regarding this bull has also come to the fore. On Wednesday, a person from the colony had lodged a complaint with the online grievance redressal system Nidan regarding the problem being caused by the infiltration of bulls. But the problem was not resolved. The bull runs to kill the children and the elderly.
