Rishikesh: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has accused Congress of trying to destroy Hindu religion. He said that the public will teach him a lesson for this. Addressing an election rally here ahead of the April 19 Lok Sabha elections in Uttarakhand, the Prime Minister said the Congress party is opposed to both development and heritage. He said, “No one can forget that the Congress party has raised questions on the existence of Lord Ram.” It is the Congress which first opposed the Ram temple, created as many obstacles as it could and even tried to create obstacles in the court.
Rejected the invitation for consecration
He said, but those who built the Ram temple forgave all the sins of the Congress and went to their house and invited them to consecrate the Lord’s life in the temple but they boycotted that too. Modi said that now Congress has publicly declared and pledged that it will destroy the power inherent in Hindu religion. He said, “This Congress wants to destroy the power of Shaktiswarupa Maa Dhari Devi, Maa Chandrabadni Devi, Maa Jwalpa Devi. There are conspiracies going on to destroy the faith of Uttarakhand and these words of Congress will add fuel to the fire.
Question raised on the existence of Ganga ji
He said that it is the responsibility of all of us to protect the culture of Uttarakhand. Prime Minister Modi said, “You all should not forget that this is the same Congress which has been saying that Har Ki Pauri is not on the banks of Maa Ganga, it is situated on the banks of a canal.” They are raising questions on the existence of Ganga ji. The people of Uttarakhand will teach them a lesson.
The country became stronger than before
The Prime Minister said that the stable government led by him has made the country much stronger in the last 10 years than before. He said that before that, as long as there were weak and unstable governments in the country, terrorism spread in India, but in their strong government, terrorists are killed by entering their homes. He said, “Today the tricolor also becomes a guarantee of security in the war zone.”
Article 370 abolished, law made on triple talaq
Modi said that his strong government abolished Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir after seven decades, made a law against triple talaq, gave reservation to women in Lok Sabha and Assembly and provided ‘OROP’ (One Rank, One Pension) to ex-servicemen. Gave benefit. He asked the public to once again make BJP candidates victorious on all five seats of Uttarakhand to fulfill the resolve of a developed India.
