new Delhi . Railways will start pilgrimage site special train from April 23. Its booking has started on Thursday. This time the Railways has launched a great package for visiting pilgrimage sites in both Air Condition (AC) and Non AC coaches. In this Swadesh Darshan train, pilgrims can now see the Kashi Corridor from the areas of Agra and Bundelkhand to Ayodhya with the darshan of Ramlala. Apart from this, one can also travel to Jagannath Puri via Ganga Sagar. The booking of these special trains has started from Thursday.
It is worth noting that in view of the increasing demand of passengers from Agra, Mathura, Tundla, Firozabad, Gwalior, Bhind, Morena, Jhansi, Jalaun and Orai regions, Railways has launched this package in the journey starting from April 23. Earlier in the month of March, about 2400 pilgrims had visited the pilgrimage sites. This train will be operated from 23 April to 01 May.
This train is being operated for religious places like Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya, Hanumangarhi, Saryu Aarti, Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Baidyanath Temple, Gangasagar, Kali Mandir (Kolkata), Jagannath Temple and Konark Temple in Puri, etc. The package for this tour is eight nights and nine days. The cost of this package is Rs 23,830 per person for 3 AC class and only Rs 16,700 for non AC class.
It is noteworthy that in this travel package, AC and non-AC facility will be provided in the train, other facilities will be of general category. Seating facility in this train is available from Agra Cantt, Gwalior, Veerangana Laxmibai, Orai, Kanpur and Lucknow.
This special package includes breakfast, lunch and dinner during the journey, local travel by non AC buses and accommodation in non AC dharamshalas etc. According to the Railways, various rules of COVID protocol of hygiene will be followed during the Swadesh Darshan Yatra.
