Karnataka The government has instructed the officials to help the company Lenskart which is searching for 25 acres of land near the Bengaluru airport. Karnataka Industries Minister MB Patil on Tuesday directed his officials to assist Lenskart Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Piyush Bansal, who is looking for land to set up a factory. Bansal had posted on X (formerly Twitter) about the need for land.

Bansal had stated the need for land near Kempegowda International Airport in a post on social media platform ‘X’. Bansal said, “Lenskart is looking for 25 acres of land within 60 km of Bengaluru airport for its big factory. If any company wants to sell land near the airport, please email.” Within five minutes, the state’s Industry Minister gave him a positive reply. Patil said, “Karnataka is the right place! The Industries Department is here to support you and cater to all your needs. The concerned authorities will contact immediately.
This area has become the center of major investments
Sources close to the minister said Patil gave necessary instructions to officials to help Bansal set up his factory in Bengaluru. Devanahalli, north of Bengaluru, has become a major investment centre. Last year, the manufacturer of Apple iPhone had said that it is investing $ 1.67 billion i.e. about Rs 14,000 crore in Karnataka. Foxconn is also setting up a manufacturing unit in Devanahalli. Foxconn has already acquired 300 acres of land here. In this way Karnataka has become an investment center for big companies.
