It is worth noting that under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, 10 installments have been sent to the accounts of farmers so far. As mentioned, financial assistance of Rs 2000 is given to the farmers every four months. To get this, it is necessary to complete the e-KYC of the farmers’ account. Apart from this, another major change has been made by the government that now it has been made necessary to give the ration card number in the registration. Beneficiaries who do not do so will not be able to get the benefit of this scheme.
Installments are sent on these dates
Let us inform that the amount of 10th installment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana was transferred to the accounts of farmers on January 1, 2022. Know here that under this scheme, the first installment money is given to the farmers between April 1 and July 31. At the same time, the money for the second installment is received between August 1 and November 30. Whereas, the money of the third installment of the scheme is transferred between December 1 and March 31. Accordingly, in the beginning of April, i.e. in the first week, the money of the 11th installment can be transferred to the farmers’ account.
Completion of e-KYC is mandatory
Significantly, the Government of India had made e-KYC mandatory for all farmers. Though it was put on hold for a few days, but now it has been resumed on the official website. Last year, the central government made e-KYC Aadhaar mandatory for farmers registered under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. This important work can also be easily accomplished with the help of your mobile, laptop or computer sitting at home.
Ration card also became mandatory
Under the big changes made by the government, now it will be mandatory to give the ration card number on new registration for this scheme. Apart from this, a PDF copy of the document will also have to be uploaded on the online portal. If you register for the first time under PM Kisan Yojana, then it will be very important for the applicant to upload the ration card number. Under the changes made by the government, now the mandatory submission of hard copies of Khatauni, Aadhar card, bank passbook and declaration has been done away with. If you have not done this work yet, then do it today. Failure to do so may lead to problems in getting your installment amount.
These farmers will not get benefit
It is important to mention here that even if you are a small or marginal farmer, but if a family member pays tax, then in such a situation you will not get the benefit of this scheme. Here family member means husband, wife and minor children.
