New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi addresses via video conferencing at the inauguration of the Sardar Patel statue at the Sanatan Mandir Cultural Center (SMCC), Markham, Ontario, Canada. On this occasion, he said that India fulfills its dream without harming anyone. PM Modi said in his address that wherever an Indian lives in the world, no matter how many generations he lives, his Indianness, his loyalty to India does not diminish even a little. The country in which that Indian lives, serves that country with full dedication and honesty. He further said that the democratic values, the sense of duty that his forefathers carried away from India, are always alive in the corner of his heart. This is because India is not only a nation but also an idea, it is also a culture.

He further said that after independence, Sardar Saheb restored the Somnath temple to remind India of its thousands of years of heritage standing at new heights. Gujarat had become a witness to that cultural great sacrifice. Today in the nectar festival of independence, we are taking a pledge to make a new India like that. We are reiterating the resolve of Sardar Saheb to fulfill that dream.

India is the top thought- which talks about ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’. India does not dream of its own uplift at the cost of another’s loss. India wishes for the welfare of the entire humanity and the whole world with it.
