On this occasion, a memento was presented to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on behalf of the players, in which it was written that we express our gratitude to PM Modi for approving the special sports package under the Prime Minister’s Development Package. Let us inform that under this, Khelo India Center has been proposed to be opened in every district of Jammu and Kashmir.

With this unprecedented growth in sports infrastructure and facilities, youth participation in sports has increased manifold. Last year alone 17.5 lakh youths participated in sports activities. During this, the players shared their experiences with the Prime Minister and apart from this, the Prime Minister has made it clear his intention to give special preference to Jammu and Kashmir in the direction of sports. However, now it has to be seen whether some efforts are made by the central government to develop Jammu and Kashmir in the direction of sports.
Let us inform that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had reached Jammu and Kashmir for the first time after the abrogation of Article 370, which gave special status to Jammu and Kashmir.
