Bengaluru. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on Karnataka tour on Saturday. During this time he will address two public meetings in Bengaluru and Chikballapur. According to the Karnataka unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Modi will address a public meeting at Chokkahalli village in Chikballapur at 2 pm. The party has made former state health minister Dr. K Sudhakar its candidate from this constituency. After this the Prime Minister will go to Bengaluru and address a public meeting at the Palace Ground at 4 pm.
Bengaluru city is a stronghold of BJP, because all three MPs here are from BJP. This will be Modi’s fourth visit to Karnataka since the announcement of the Lok Sabha election schedule. His first public meeting was held in Kalaburagi, the home constituency of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, on March 16, the day the election dates were announced. His next public meeting was held in Shivamogga. Modi was in Mysuru and Mangaluru on 14 April.
