Patna In the border areas of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh, now the police of both the states have planned to crack down on the absconding criminals. Under this, a meeting of senior police officers of both the states has also been held. It is being told that both the police have also prepared a list of such criminals. A senior police officer said that in the meeting of police of both the states, Bihar’s Additional Director General of Police (ADG) (Law and Order) Sanjay Singh and ADG CID Jitendra Kumar along with ADG Akhil Kumar of Gorakhpur zone of UP attended.
During this, there was a special discussion regarding the arrest of criminals active in the border districts.
Police believe that criminals are easily crossing the border by carrying out incidents of crime in one state and making safe havens in other states. Officials say that many districts of the two states are adjacent to each other, so many times criminals flee to neighboring states in search of a safe haven. In such a situation, it has also been discussed to carry out the operation under a strategy by coordinating the police of both the states for their arrest.
Sources say that during this time the list of such criminals has been exchanged by the police of both the states. Sources say that it has also been agreed to confiscate the property of the absconding criminals for a long time.
It is being said that after getting the details of the property, the police will take action to confiscate their property after the order of the court in case of their absconding, so that the morale of the criminals can be broken.
Sources claim that soon there will be a meeting of the station in-charges of the border areas of both the states, in which further strategy will be discussed on this.
