Pranam Gwalior: Gwalior. On the occasion of Mahashivratri festival, the whole city is immersed in the devotion of Lord Bholenath. Flower bungalows are decorated with attractive lights all over the Shiva temples in the city. Barricades have also been installed to ensure smooth flow of traffic. The doors of the temples were opened for the devotees from 12 o’clock in the night. Devotees had darshan of Mahadev from the night itself at the temples of Achaleshwar, Gupteshwar, Koteshwar etc. of the city. To make arrangements at the temples, 400 police personnel have been deployed, who took the lead from the night itself. On the occasion of Mahashivratri, 100 quintal potato, 50 quintal sago, 10 quintal fruit chaat will be offered at Achaleshwar Mahadev temple.
Moving Ceremony: A moving ceremony will be taken out from Gupteshwar Mahadev Temple at 11 am, which will reach Laxmiganj, Hanuman Mandir, Sarafa Bazar, Inderganj, Jayendraganj, Achaleshwar. The ceremony will be welcomed here. After this, this ongoing ceremony will end at the Gupteshwar temple. Two adornments of Lord Shiva will be done at the Markandeshwar temple located in Phulbagh. In this, in the morning he will be decorated as a sannyasin and in the evening as a groom. Separate lines have been arranged for men and women at the Koteshwar temple.
Convenience: For the convenience of the devotees reaching the Achaleshwar temple, the work of Smart Road will be kept closed. Dust keeps flying during the construction of this road. So it has been decided to stop the work.
Inconvenience: Non-interlocking work is being done in Chulha-Anuppur section on Katni railway line, due to which Durg-Nizamuddin Humsafar Express and Durg-Jammutvi Express will be canceled today.
Training: 30 days refresher cum promotion course will be started from today at Officers Training Academy of NCC. In this, 120 senior and junior wings will be given rigorous training. This will include physical training, drills, map reading, outdoor drills as well as weapons training.
