Speculation about a quick change in the name of the YouTube channel of Pakistan’s Prime Minister’s Office has intensified. It is believed that Imran Khan may step down as Prime Minister in front of the public during a public rally in Islamabad on Sunday. The rally is being organized to demonstrate the strength of Imran Khan’s Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). The reason behind this is the no-confidence motion brought by the opposition in the Pakistani Parliament.
At present, Pakistan PM Imran Khan is facing increasing economic and social challenges. Apart from this, the opposition party has also accused the Imran government of corruption. Speculation has also intensified on Saturday to change the name of the YouTube channel associated with the PM’s office, which was earlier named ‘Prime Minister’s Office’, which has been changed to ‘Imran Khan’.
Will Imran resign in front of the public?
Imran Khan has called the opposition parties a ‘group of dacoits’. In this regard, Imran Khan is going to hold a rally at the Parade Ground in the capital Islamabad. A large number of people are expected to attend this rally. It is believed that in this rally, Imran Khan will resign from the post of Prime Minister in front of the public.
Earlier, in a message to news agency PTI, Imran said, “I want my people to come to the parade ground tomorrow, tomorrow we will show them (opposition parties) the crowd of their loved ones!”
No-confidence motion will be introduced in Parliament on April 3 or 4.
There are continuous reports from Pakistan that the government of PM Imran Khan can fall at any time. The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party does not have an absolute majority. In such a situation, the party is running a coalition government. Now Pakistan’s Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid has told that the vote on the no-confidence motion against Imran Khan is likely to be held on April 3 or 4.
