Lawrence first came into limelight in 2018 when one of his accomplices, Sampat Nehra, was caught in connection with planning the murder of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. Nehka claimed that she did so at the behest of Lawrence.

Five years later, in January 2015, Vicky and Lahoria attacked Sukha during Gounder’s appearance in the Jalandhar court. Sukha was killed in a fierce shootout. The police arrested Gounder the same year, but his friend Lahoria escaped from jail in November 2016. In the famous Nabha jailbreak case, Gounder escaped along with five accomplices.
