New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a rally in Jhabua, Madhya Pradesh on Sunday amid the Lok Sabha elections and addressed the tribal community. However, he clarified that this rally has nothing to do with the elections. During the rally, he noticed that a child was having pain in his hand and to prevent the pain from increasing, he stopped him from moving his hand. Modi praised the child’s behavior and said that continuous movement could cause more discomfort. It is noteworthy that Modi was addressing a tribal rally in Jhabua district after inaugurating development projects worth Rs 7,550 crore in Madhya Pradesh.
He emphasized that the rapid progress in developmental projects has been due to the efficient administration of the double engine government. Modi clarified that his visit was not for the Lok Sabha election campaign but to express his gratitude to the people for their support in the assembly elections. Acknowledging the trust reposed by the people of Madhya Pradesh on his administration, he expressed confidence of fulfilling the developmental expectations of the state.
Modi encouraged the audience, especially this time for crossing the 370 mark. Providing an analogy, he urged people to bring 370 more votes per polling station than in the previous elections to achieve this target.
Despite saying that the rally was not related to the Lok Sabha elections, Modi criticized the Congress party during the event. He accused Congress of neglecting the development of the tribal community and claimed that their only agenda is to spread hatred. Modi predicted that Congress would face defeat in the 2024 elections after its failure in 2023.

In his address, Modi said that the tribal community is not just a vote bank but a source of pride for the country. He assured them of his commitment to the dreams of their children and stressed that under his leadership their respect and development is guaranteed. Reminiscing about his tenure as Gujarat Chief Minister, Modi recalled going door-to-door in villages to urge parents to educate their daughters. She spoke about the challenging task of getting girls to school in remote villages amid extreme weather conditions, highlighting her dedication towards empowering girls through education.
