Some truck owners in UP’s Bulandshahr say that more than 25 of their trucks were deployed in Congress’s ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ through Manoj Singh of Delhi-Haridwar Transport Company. Now that a lot of time has passed since the end of the yatra, despite the Congress asking the responsible people, lakhs of rupees are not being paid. It is noteworthy that many Congress leaders including Rahul Gandhi participated in the 150 day long Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra from Kanyakumari to Kashmir. During this Congress march, Rahul Gandhi and other leaders accompanying him did not stay in any five star hotel but in containers. It is like a room on wheels, these containers were transported from one place to another through trucks. Trucks were hired for this very purpose. As the next stop of the journey approached, these containers would also reach there.
Apart from bed, toilet, AC was also installed in these containers. One of these containers was also made a conference room. It was used for meetings while traveling. Everyone was allotted different containers. Rahul Gandhi had a container with a bed. Apart from this, containers with 2 beds, 4 beds, 6 beds and 12 beds were also in the journey. These containers were made by a private company in Mumbai. These containers were parked at one place for night rest. BJP had cornered Congress regarding the container equipped with state-of-the-art facilities for the comfort of the leaders included in the yatra convoy.
