Bhopal. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has to rest for the night today i.e. Monday, April 8, in Shahdol district of Madhya Pradesh, because his helicopter could not take off due to bad weather. A party official gave this information on Monday. However, later BJP leaders including former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan claimed that Rahul Gandhi could not take off because the helicopter ran out of fuel.
Gandhi is in Madhya Pradesh for his party’s Lok Sabha election campaign and on Monday addressed two rallies in Mandla and Shahdol, where voting will be held on April 26. Madhya Pradesh Congress chief Jitu Patwari said, ‘His helicopter could not take off due to bad weather in Shahdol. From here Gandhi had to go to Jabalpur, from where he had to leave for Delhi. At present he will spend the night in a hotel in Shahdol and will leave at 6 am on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, while addressing a meeting in village Chawalpani under Chhindwara Lok Sabha seat on Monday night, former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said, ‘Rahul Gandhi came to Shahdol today but due to lack of fuel, his helicopter could not take off. If Congress has run out of fuel, how will there be fuel for Rahul’s helicopter? Congress too is not able to fly like Rahul Gandhi’s helicopter. No matter how much Madam Sonia Gandhi pushes him, Rahul Gandhi will not fly. Shivraj Singh also took a dig at Nakul Nath, the current Congress MP from Chhindwara and said that his political career is also not progressing.
