Party’s state president Revanth Reddy told that, from December to March, active membership of the party has been made, in which we have added 40 lakh members in Telangana. With this, we have made maximum membership. Also, for those who have become members of Congress, we have tied up with ‘Accidental Policy’ by entering into an agreement with New India Assurance Company.
It will start from April 1. Today we handed over the check to Assurance Company under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi. From 1st April we will go to the movement, we are going to fight for the students, women and farmers.
According to the information, along with digital membership, there are about 40 lakh members in Telangana, 34 lakh in Karnataka, 15 lakh in Maharashtra, 10 lakh in Gujarat, 10 lakh in Kerala, five lakh in Chhattisgarh, four lakh in Bihar, three in Delhi. lakh and Rajasthan has three lakh members.
In fact, the Congress has started preparing for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Congress wants those who joined on paper to be included in the digital database. Also, the membership drive of the party is likely to end on March 31.
