The Chief Minister said this after a question raised by the opposition during the discussion on the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Bill 2022 on Wednesday. Said that we are taking Bapu’s words to every house.

Teams of many states appreciated the prohibition of liquor
The Chief Minister said that teams from many states came to see the prohibition of liquor in Bihar. After returning, the team said that the law has been implemented very well. He said that is there any income from liquor. When we stopped liquor, the revenue of 5000 crores had reached.

Passed unanimously on CM’s appeal
Counting the harm caused by alcohol and the positive effect of prohibition, the Chief Minister also reminded the opposition of the day when a law was made regarding prohibition. He appealed to pass the amendment bill unanimously, after which the opposition also supported him.
Ramchandra Purve of RJD said that this is a historic work. However, earlier Sunil Singh of RJD had brought the amendment. But in the end the bill was passed unanimously. Earlier this bill was passed by the assembly. In this way, this amendment bill was approved by both the houses of the legislature.
