New Delhi. There is a ruckus in the politics of Maharashtra regarding the statement given by former Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Veer Savarkar. Rahul Gandhi is seen getting trapped badly by criticizing Savarkar. In fact, Shiv Sena (Uddhav faction) has got angry with Rahul Gandhi’s statement on Hindu thinker Savarkar. It is reported quoting sources that Uddhav Thackeray is said to be angry with Rahul Gandhi for insulting Savarkar. Not only this, it is being said that Shiv Sena with Uddhav faction may break the alliance with Mahavikas Aghadi. Earlier, Shivsena (Uddhav faction) MP Sanjay Raut had spoken about a rift in the MVA alliance.
Earlier, CM Uddhav Thackeray objected to Rahul Gandhi’s statement on Savarkar. Uddhav Thackeray said that we have great respect and faith for Veer Savarkar and it cannot be destroyed. Let us inform that Uddhav Thackeray’s son Aditya Thackeray also participated in this walk in Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra. But now the Shiv Sena is shying away from Rahul’s statement on Savarkar and even breaking the alliance is coming to the fore.
Let us inform that on the last day, Rahul Gandhi had held a press conference in Vadegaon village located in Akola district of Maharashtra. In which he showed a letter to Veer Savarkar and criticized him. He had said that Sir, I (Savarkar) want to be your servant. Mahatma Gandhi, Patel and Nehru did not do this, so they remained behind bars for years. Rahul Gandhi also accused Savarkar of helping the British.
India’s Hindu supremacist group’s most revered ideologue Savarkar had begged the British to remain as their most obedient servant.

On the other hand, Maharashtra Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis has replied to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on the Savarkar controversy. Fadnavis has also shared two letters in the tweet in which he wrote, yesterday you asked me to read the last lines of a letter, come on, now let me read some documents today. Have you read this letter of Mahatma Gandhi, respected by all of us? Does it have the same last lines you wanted me to read?
Rahul ji,
Yesterday you asked me to read the last lines of a letter,
Come on, now let me read some documents to you today.
Have you read this letter of our respected Mahatma Gandhi?
Does it have the same last lines you wanted me to read?#VeerSavarkar @RahulGandhi pic.twitter.com/hwtDtuB1ws— Devendra Fadnavis (@Dev_Fadnavis) November 18, 2022
Earlier, Sanjay Raut was enraged over Rahul’s statement on Veer Savarkar. Giving advice to Rahul Gandhi, Raut said, “It is neither acceptable to Maharashtra nor to Shiv Sena to make such allegations against Veer Savarkar. Maharashtra’s Congress leaders will also not support. There was no need to bring up this issue. This may cause a rift in the MVA as well.”
