Today’s weather: The weather patterns have changed in many states of the country at this time. It is snowing along with rain on the mountains. Hail is falling in the plains. Yesterday i.e. on Thursday, an avalanche also occurred in Gulmarg of Jammu and Kashmir. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy snowfall, rain and hailstorm in many parts of the country today.
According to IMD, rain activities will be seen in North India and North Eastern India till 23 February. And on February 24, a fresh western disturbance will show its effect. Due to this, rain activities may start again in the western Himalayan region. IMD in North East India has predicted rain in Arunachal Pradesh during February 23 and for the next 2-3 days. There is a possibility of rain in Assam and Meghalaya on 23 February.

According to the Meteorological Department, sporadic light/moderate rain/snowfall has also been predicted in Arunachal Pradesh during 24-27 February. There is a possibility of rain in Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura on 24 and 25 February. Clouds may become dense in the capital Delhi between 25 and 27 February. There is a possibility of rain in the beginning of March. However, its situation will become more clear in the coming two to three days.
According to Skymet Weather, sporadic light rain and snowfall is possible in the Western Himalayan region during the next 24 hours. Light to moderate rain and snowfall along with heavy rain at some places is possible in Arunachal Pradesh. Light to moderate rain is possible in Northeast India. Light rain is possible in parts of Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Bihar and North Jharkhand. Light rain is possible at some places in North Madhya Pradesh.
