Weather Update Today: The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of rain in 14 states of the country and heat wave in 8 states. According to the department, there may be rain in many areas of Kerala, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Odisha, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Assam, Sikkim, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh, while Gujarat, Goa, Karnataka, There is a possibility of heat wave in Kerala, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. Let us tell you that the temperature in some states of the country has crossed 43 degrees. The highest temperature of 44.5 degrees was recorded in Nandyal, Andhra Pradesh. Anantapur of Andhra was at second place, where the temperature reached 44.4 degrees on Saturday.
Rain at some places and heatwave alert at some places in Kerala-Telangana
Kerala and Telangana are two such states in the country, in which rain alert has been issued in some areas and heatwave alert has been issued in some areas. The Meteorological Department said that there is a possibility of rain as well as hailstorm in Madhya Pradesh for the next 4 days i.e. from 7th to 10th April. There is also a possibility of storm blowing at the speed of 30 to 60Kmph in these states. There will be no heat wave in Bihar today, there has been a decline in the maximum temperature in 16 cities here.
Heat wave will prevail in these states
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert regarding heatwave. IMD said on Saturday (April 6) that apart from some parts of Odisha, the problems of people may increase due to heat wave in the areas around Ganga in West Bengal and some parts of Jharkhand on April 6 and April 7. The Meteorological Department has also said that the heat will increase in Eastern India in the next few days.
However, the Meteorological Department has also predicted hailstorm at different places in Odisha on Sunday (April 7). Apart from this, there is a possibility of hailstorm in East Madhya Pradesh from 7 to 10 April, Vidarbha from 7 to 10 April, Chhattisgarh and Marathwada from 7 to 8 April.
Heat wave has also started showing over Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal, Central Maharashtra, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam, parts of North Interior Karnataka, Telangana and Tamil Nadu and at isolated places over East Uttar Pradesh and South West Madhya Pradesh. The minimum temperature at these places is 2- 4 degrees Celsius above normal. At the same time, the situation is similar in different places of Bihar, Gujarat, Central Maharashtra, West Bengal, Sikkim, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.
