Meena is accused of having asked for the said amount from the accused in exchange for saving him from arrest. At present, the accused has been sent to the custody of the Central Investigation Agency. Let us tell you that the ACB officer issued a statement on this entire matter and said that the Enforcement Directorate has arrested officer Naval Kishore Meena and his associate Babu Lala Meena on charges of demanding a bribe of Rs 15 lakh from the accused. According to the information received, this bribe amount was taken in exchange for saving the accused from arrest. Meanwhile, ACB Additional Director General Hemant Priyadarshi said, ‘Naval had demanded Rs 17 lakh for saving the accused from arrest, out of which he was arrested with Rs 15 lakh. It should be noted that ED is in action mode keeping the upcoming elections in mind. Recently, while ED had raided the residence of PCC Chief Govind Singh Dotasara, it had also issued summons to CM Ashok Gehlot’s son Vaibhav Gehlot in the FEMA case.
