Most of the candidates of RAS Main exam want it to be conducted on 25-26 February as per schedule. Postponing it is not in the interest of the candidates as it will put financial and mental pressure on them. Hence, the demand by some of the candidates to postpone the examination is not justified.
Full statement of Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot
CM Gehlot said that the widening gap between RAS Prelims 2021 and RAS Mains 2021 will spoil the entire calendar of examinations scheduled by RPSC. If the RAS Main exam is not conducted on time, it may delay other competitive exams as per the recruitment calendar released by RPSC.
Actually, RAS candidates started an online drive to postpone the main exam. The main reason behind this demand for postponement was expected to get extra time for preparation due to sudden change in syllabus. Students are holding a Satyagraha in Jaipur since February 10 for their demands. Students say that they do not have any objection to changing the syllabus, but after this change, the examination should not be conducted in just 93 days.
