According to the information received, the elderly person was undergoing treatment at Maharana Bhupal Hospital in Udaipur. A day earlier, the corona report of the old man came negative. The corona test of the elderly was done when his health deteriorated. In which he was found to be COVID positive. The samples were then sent to Pune for confirmation by Omicron. After this, Omicron was confirmed in them. However, later his corona report came negative. In such a situation, the death of the elderly has raised concern among the health department officials. Apart from this, cases are increasing in Jaipur.
The worrying thing in the matter is that on December 21, the report of the deceased came negative. The Omicron virus was confirmed after tests on December 25. The medical department believes that he died of post-Covid pneumonia. Also the patient was suffering from hypertension and high diabetes. The deceased had no travel history.
Here, a day before the New Year celebrations, a record 185 new cases of corona were reported in Jaipur on Thursday. In view of the rapidly increasing corona case in Rajasthan, necessary restrictions have been imposed by issuing new guidelines on Wednesday. The government has given a relaxation of two hours in the night curfew on December 31 in view of the new year.
